THE SPACE

Gazer Ranch is built around two kinds of group time: the kind where everyone comes together, and the kind where everyone finds their own thing to do. Across six bedrooms are eight queen beds with memory foam mattresses. The primary bedroom includes a queen bed and en-suite bathroom, two bedrooms each have two queen beds, and the remaining three bedrooms each have one queen bed. Three full bathrooms serve the home. The large kitchen and island create a natural gathering point for meals, while the living room adds an oversized sectional, 65-inch Smart TV, and electric fireplace. For nights when the group still has energy, the home theater and karaoke setup turn staying in into its own plan.

OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE

The backyard at Gazer Ranch is made for long desert days that don't need much of an itinerary. Cool off in the private pool, relax in the spa, turn mini golf or bocce into a group competition, or settle beneath the patio cover with something from the BBQ. After sunset, the built-in fire pit becomes the natural gathering point. Stay outside for the stars, or take the night indoors for movies and karaoke, either way, there is always somewhere for the group to land.

GOOD TO KNOW

BBQ GRILL

Our BBQ grill runs on propane gas, which we provide, so there’s no need to bring your own.

POOL HEATING

Pool heating is available with at least 24 hours' notice and can reach up to 85°F. The fee is $180/day from May through September and $250/day from October through April.

SPA

Spa use is included at no additional charge.

PETS

Up to two dogs are welcome with a $100 fee per pet, per stay. All pets must be disclosed before arrival.

POOL SERVICE

Routine pool service takes place Mondays and Thursdays between approximately 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM. The technician accesses the outdoor area only.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW

We want every guest to enjoy Gazer Ranch safely while helping us keep the home in great condition. Please review the following before booking.

PARTIES, EVENTS & EXTRA GUESTS

Parties and events are not permitted. Maximum occupancy is 12 guests. Please disclose visitors or additional overnight guests in advance. Approved extra overnight guests are $50 per person, per night.

POOL & SPA SAFETY

Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times while using or being near the pool and spa. No diving or glass is permitted in the pool area. Please use the pool and spa responsibly and at your own risk.

PETS & POOL

Pets are not permitted in the pool or spa. Guests are responsible for their pets at all times, including any damage or additional cleaning caused during the stay. For their safety around cactus and desert wildlife, pets should remain leashed and supervised while outside.

DESERT WILDLIFE

Gazer Ranch is located in a natural High Desert environment. Insects, rodents, snakes, spiders, and other wildlife may occasionally be encountered. Please keep doors closed when possible and remain aware of your surroundings. Encounters with wildlife or insects that are part of the natural desert environment are not grounds for a refund.

PLUMBING & SEPTIC SYSTEM

Gazer Ranch uses a septic system. Only toilet paper may be flushed. Improper use resulting in clogged or damaged plumbing may result in a $200 repair fee.

NO SMOKING

Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted inside the property or within 15 feet of exterior doors. Failure to follow this policy may result in a $100 additional cleaning fee.

SECURITY CAMERAS

In accordance with insurance company requirements, four exterior security cameras monitor the front and rear entrance areas for guest and property safety. All security cameras are located outside the property. There are no cameras inside the home. Cameras may not be tampered with, covered, or disabled during your stay.

PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO & COMMERCIAL USE

Personal photos and videos are welcome, and you're welcome to tag @visithideaway. Professional, promotional, commercial, or revenue-generating photography and filming require prior written approval and may be subject to production fees. Unauthorized commercial shoots may result in a $5,000 violation fee and applicable production fees. If you're unsure whether your shoot qualifies as commercial use, please contact us before booking.

LATE CHECK-OUT

Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Guests who remain at the property after 11:05 AM will be charged a $75 late check-out fee for every 30 minutes past the check-out time.

DAMAGES

Accidents happen. If anything is damaged, broken, or seriously stained during your stay, please let us know as soon as possible so our team can assist. Guests are responsible for damage resulting from misuse or failure to follow property guidelines.

Access

You'll have private access to the entire home and its guest amenities during your stay. The property uses a smart lock. Your door code will be provided before arrival.

Neighborhood

Gazer Ranch is located in Joshua Tree, giving you a comfortable base for exploring Joshua Tree National Park and the wider High Desert. Spend the day hiking, exploring local restaurants and shops, or discovering the area's desert landscape, then return to a home with enough entertainment to keep the day going.

Transit

A car is recommended for exploring the area.
